However you choose to get in touch please include a description of your idea,
where you would like the tattoo, roughly what size and if you would like it in colour or black and grey.

I am currently working from The Blackhouse Tattoo in Brighton UK.

The Blackhouse Tattoo is well known locally as a safe space studio. There’s no judgement and everyone here is friendly and helpful.
A beautiful space where all are welcome.
Parking spaces are available on the streets surrounding the studio. We are also just a 5 minute walk from Brighton train station.
Once you leave the studio the aftercare of your tattoo is solely up to you. I highly recommend Yayo Familia Tattoo Butter.
INSTRUCTIONS:
* Remove the cling film wrapping after 3-4 hours.
* Wash your tattoo with a mild fragrance free soap and use warm water. Be sure to remove all plasma and excess ink.
* Gently PAT dry with a clean paper towel.
* Apply a THIN layer of Yayo Familia Tattoo Butter. it should feel tacky to the touch, not wet.
* Re-wrap the tattoo with cling film.
* Repeat this process every 4 hours or so, with clean hands, for the first 3-5 days.
* For the first 3-5 nights wash cream and wrap your tattoo as above right before bed.
* Continue the ointment process until the tattoo has finished peeling. From there, switch to using a lotion or moisturiser high in vitamin E such as Palmers Cocoa Butter.
* For at least the first month keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight.
* Do not apply sun cream until tattoo has finished peeling fully.
* Your tattoo should peel after one week and fully heal after two weeks if you follow these instructions.
I do not recommend swimming of any kind during the tattoo healing process. If you must take a bath keep the tattoo from being submerged in the water for the duration.
Be cautious of pets/ pet hair and avoid direct contact with your tattoo.
AFTERCARE
YOUR FRESH TATTOO MAY LOOK PRETTY BUT IT IS AN OPEN WOUND LIKE ANY OTHER AND SO MUST BE TREATED LIKE ONE TO AVOID INFECTIONS AND/OR BAD HEALING!
FAQ
WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?
My minimum charge is £80 per hour
My hourly rate is £120 per hour
I also offer full day (6 hour) deals for just £550
If choosing a piece of my flash (pre drawn tattoo designs for sale) my hourly rate is just £100 per hour
DEPOSITS?
For my full day deals I require a £100 deposit
For everything else I require an £80 deposit
The cost of the deposit comes off of the total price of the tattoo on the day of your appointment
Deposits are non refundable, however I am happy to rearrange appointments and carry over deposits to a new date if given at least 48 hours notice
WHAT DAYS DO YOU WORK?
I work “school hours” due to family commitments
MONDAY – FRIDAY: 9:30am – 2:45pm
EVERY OTHER SATURDAY: 9:30am – 4pm
CAN I USE NUMBING CREAM?
Sure thing! do what you gotta do.
Please make sure you apply your numbing cream 2 hours prior to your appointment time. shave the skin and apply a thick layer to the area before wrapping it up tight in cling film
CAN I BRING A FRIEND TO MY APPOINTMENT?
Ofcourse! The Blackhouse Tattoo is a very inclusive, large and comfortable space. if you need to bring one person with you for moral support they are more than welcome. The studio is beautiful and we love to show it off
ARE YOUR INKS VEGAN?
Yes. I use Eternal and Dynamic ink. These products are explicitly stated to be vegan friendly and cruelty free, meaning they contain no animal products and are not tested on animals
DO YOU TAKE CARD?
Deposits are typically paid via bank transfer as most consultations are done online (I will provide a link to make this easier)
On the day of your appointment the remainder can be paid either by cash or bank transfer. We do not use a card machine at the studio
IS THE STUDIO WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes. We have huge wide double doors in to the ground floor studio. there is a small step between the foyer and the tattoo space but a ramp is provided
