MY STORY

Hi, thank you for visiting.
My name is Aaron Fitchett and I have been tattooing professionally since 2012. Currently based in Brighton UK.
Known primarily for Traditional and Neo Traditional style tattooing in both colour and black and grey although I am open to all styles of tattooing.
A lot of my work is larger scale these days but I enjoy every tattoo the same regardless of scale or style. Whether it’s your first small tattoo or a full back piece, I am dedicated to providing a safe, friendly, professional collaborative experience to all who are kind enough to get tattooed by me. It’s the simple act of creating tattoos and meeting new people that keep me devoted to this crazy, wonderful thing we call tattooing.
I combine my own artistic flare with a deep respect for the craft and those who came before me to create custom traditional tattoos with a modern flare. Bright, bold and built to last.

I am currently tattooing from The Blackhouse Tattoo in Brighton.
After owning and running my own high street tattoo shop, Gold Irons Tattoo Club, for 10 years I wanted more freedom from the ‘business’ side of tattooing and more time to focus on exploring the art of it and developing my signature style. It was a wild ride and I learned a great deal from the experience however I closed the shop in 2024 and moved over to The Blackhouse Tattoo to allow more free time to work directly with my clients to achieve their tattoo vision instead of being tied up with the logistics of running a street shop and managing other artists while tattooing full time myself. I also wanted more time and peace of mind to dedicate to my family since becoming a father.
From humble beginning’s in a small biker shop with an old school style apprenticeship I have gone on to be featured in Tattoo publications such at Total Tattoo, Skin Deep and Tattoo Life Magazine.
I have won a Best traditional tattoo award at a Skin Deep sponsored Tattoo convention and have published a book of my flash with the support of Miki Vialetto, editor of Tattoo Life Magazine and the legend behind the OG London Tobacco Dock tattoo convention.
I have built my own, tattoo inspired, lifestyle and fashion brand ‘KillBurn’ and helped Indy fashion labels, bands and barber shops brand their businesses. I have also collaborated with well known brands such as Bad Monday and Lost World. I am now learning website development and design to expand my artistic side into the technological world. I built this very website from the ground up as my first project.
If you’d like to collaborate in any way, be that tattooing, merchandise, web design etc. Please feel free to reach out to me and let’s make some magic happen.
Thank you and big love
Aaron.
